"Effective", "reliable", and "dedicated": these are words used to describe the reputation I have earned with those I have served over the years. 16 years helping students, their families, teachers, and administrators during my time as an educator and district leader established a strong foundation to which I have now built my real estate business. Transitioning from serving families in education to serving families in real estate has come easily for me because my mission has stayed the same- treat each person as if they are the most important person in the room... because they are. As a former Buffalonian, I was born and raised in what is known as the "city of good neighbors", where so many of us truly subscribed to the Golden Rule of "treat others the way you want to be treated." Over time that rule has morphed into my own "Goldin Rule" to treat others the way THEY want to be treated. While this change may seem subtle, it is a powerful shift in perspective. Knowing how others want to be treated requires placing one's own self in the shoes of another to understand their needs, wants, challenges, and goals. I have long realized that real estate goals are the foundation to fulfilling our life's dreams- buying property allows us to plant our roots and build a home where can cultivate love and safety or utilize it to generate income that brings cash flow to support our hobbies and save for our futures... and selling can bring us the funds to expand to conquer further endeavors or even to off-load a stress that has been hanging over us for some time. I believe that real estate holds the key to unlocking our potential and taking what used to be a dream and making it a reality. Having just recently accomplished my lifelong goal of earning my Doctorate degree in Mathematics Education, I have gifted myself more time available to me! In my new found free time, you can find me enjoying one of the many Georgetown parks, breweries, or restaurants with my family and dog. We love exploring the new developments and business that have come to our expanding community. And on Sundays, I am undoubtedly cheering on the Buffalo Bills because of course, this is our year!!! As a former educator and proud wife of a retired U.S. Army and Navy Veteran I have a special love for providing consultation to educators and veterans seeking to reach financial goals through real estate. There are countless assistance and grant programs for members of both communities, it just takes having the right agent with the right knowledge to guide you in taking advantage of these programs.
